Harriet G. Hyde

Harriet G. Hyde, 91, of Lisbon, died on September 16, 2013, at St. Regis Nursing Home. Calling hours will be on, Friday, September 20, 2013, 5:30 - 8:30 PM; with a prayer service at 8:00 PM. The funeral service will be on Saturday, September 21, 10:00 am, at the funeral home with Father Kevin O'Brien officiating. Burial will be in White Church Cemetery, Lisbon. Harriet is survived by her son Randall J. "Randy" Sabourin, Lisbon, daughter in law Susan Sabourin, Lisbon, a sister, Wavabell Randall, Brasher, grandchildren, Marissa Sabourin, Megan Bjork, Tessia Sabourin, Jennifer McAvoy, great grandchild, Zach Bjork, Kayden Pray, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, Lyle, Norman, and Everett, sisters, Evelyn Bray and Lorette Burdick. Harriet was born on August 31, 1922, the daughter of Frank and Maude Jock Moody, in North Lawrence. She married Bernard F. Hyde on September 4,1940, he died on April 1, 1996. She was a homemaker and farmer for 50+ years on the Taggart Road. She was a member of St. Phillips and James Church in Lisbon and loved to read, do puzzles, play cards (solitaire), make quilts and sew.
