Jacqueline A. Dority, 75, of Ogdensburg, passed away July 8, 2011 after a short stay in Claxton-Hepburn Hospital. She was a resident of St. Josephs Nursing Home.
Calling hours will be Monday, July 11, 11 AM - 1 PM, the at Allen-Nichols Funeral Home, Ogdensburg. The funeral service will follow with Reverend Father James Shurtleff officiating. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Ogdensburg.
Jacqueline is survived by her sons James D. and Kathy Dority of North Carolina, Gary E. and Andrea Dority, North Carolina, Phillip and Pamela Dority, Ogdensburg, Bruce Michael Dority, Ogdensburg, Brian P.Dority and fiancAC. Wendi Clothier, Ogdensburg and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son Daniel L. Riley and her brother Leo Riley. She was born in Ogdensburg, the daughter of Frederick and Alma Riley on October 14, 1935. She was married to Donald C. Dority.
Jacqueline was a waitress at the University Inn, Canton for 27 years She also worked for Mitel and several local convenience stores. She enjoyed old movies, her dog, and spending time with her family and friends.
