Lowell L. Livingston, 82, formally of Hammond, died on March15, 2014, in Richmond, Virginia. There will be a memorial graveside service with military honors on, Wednesday, June 18, 2014, 10:00 am at the Pine Hill Cemetery, Eel Weir. Lowell is survived by a son James Livingston of Portland, Oregon, daughters, Shelly Pennington of Orange Park, Florida, Patricia and husband Wayne Lawrence of Providence Forge, Virginia, Carol and husband Rejean Joannette of Keene Valley, New York, grandchildren, Rachael Durkin, Jennifer Durkin, Moreen Cunningham, Kaitland Cunningham, Kellie Johnson, Diana Lepak, Brian Lepak Jr., Harrison Joannette, Brianna Joannette and Sydney Joannette, 10 great grandchildren, 23 nieces and nephews, many, many great nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his siblings, Earl Livingston, Donald Livingston, Gerald Livingston and Helen Bellinger. Lowell was born in DeKalb, March 14, 1932, the son of George and Florence Hutchcroft Livingston, he attended Ogdensburg Free Academy. He married Margaret Jean Hummel on October 7, 1954; she died on June 22, 2007. Lowell was a retired United States Air Force and Vietnam Veteran. While in the Air Force he was the recipient of the Bronze Star. He traveled the world while in the air Force but his heart was always in the north county. After his retirement he was a St. Lawrence County deputy Sheriff. He was a master carpenter/cabinet maker; he loved animals and nature, fishing and his county.
