Patricia A. Bentley

OGDENSBURG-A memorial service for Patricia A. Bentley, 83, of Ogdensburg will be held on Thursday, January 25, 2018 at 2 p.m. at the LaRue & Pitcher Funeral Home with Deacon Mark Lalonde officiating.   Calling hours will be held from 12 p.m. until the time of the service.  Burial will be private. 

Mrs. Bentley died on January 21, 2018 at her home following a long illness, surrounded by her family and under the care of Hospice.

Arrangements are under the direction of LaRue & Pitcher Funeral Home.

Patricia A. Bentley was born on September 29, 1934 in Ogdensburg, NY.  She was the daughter of the late Stanley and Bernadette (Lago) Mills.  She attended local schools. Patricia worked as a Certified Nurses Assistant at Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center for 27 years as well as a private duty home health care nurse.   She enjoyed reading, walking her dogs, knitting, Yankees baseball and most of all spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her son; Scott Bentley and his fiancé Lisa Todd of Ogdensburg, her daughters; Colleen Regan and her husband Shannon of Fairport, NY, Karen Denoncourt and her husband Michael of Ogdensburg and Linda LaFave of Ogdensburg.  She is survived by twelve grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.  Her brothers; Bernard Mills and his wife Joan and Ronald Mills and his wife Jan also survive her; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
