Shane Austin

A Celebration of Life for Shane Austin, 57, of Ogdensburg will be held at the Ogdensburg Dobisky Center at 4:30 pm on Sunday, November 4, 2018.  Mr. Austin died at his home unexpectedly on Monday, October 15, 2018.

Arrangements are under the direction of LaRue & Pitcher Funeral Home.

Shane was born on May 15, 1961, in Ogdensburg.  He was the son of the late Harry and Elizabeth (King) Austin.  He attended Ogdensburg School.  He had children with Lisa Refici, Barbara Austin and  Mary Pike. He worked mainly as a Taxi Driver until he became disabled. A marriage to Lisa England ended in divorce and a marriage to Barbara Austin would end in separation.  He enjoyed Buffalo Bills Football and NASCAR Racing.  Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren, and friends.

He is survived by his children; Jesse Austin, Airaca Gagnon, Aubree Austin all of Ogdensburg, Shayne Austin, Kelsey Austin of Gouverneur and Kailyn Austin of Hammond.   He is survived by his companion Debra Dishaw, his sisters; Connie Brais and Michelle Austin of Ogdensburg.  Twenty grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive him.

 He was predeceased by his Brother Leo Austin, his Sister Pamela Austin and Nephews; Alan Harper and Tommy Austin.
