Tammy M. Tynon was born on November 29, 1961, in Ogdensburg, NY.   She was the daughter of Ann (McRoberts) Bodwell. She was a 1979 graduate of Ogdensburg Free Academy; she earned her degree in Nursing from Canton ATC.  In 1983 she married Randy J. Tynon at St. Mary’s Cathedral with Rev. Kevin O’Brien as celebrant. After 30 years of marriage, Randy died on April 16, 2013.  Tammy worked as an OBGYN Nurse at Claxton Hepburn Medical Center for 30-plus years until her retirement. As a nurse, she saw so many lives come into this world, and many would stop and thank her for her help and kindness.    She was passionate, fiery, loving, funny, and inspiring.  She loved her grandchildren.  She was loved and spread love and kindness.  She loved her Harley, Miami Dolphins Football and spending time on the St. Lawrence.   You could find her front row with the goofiest hat ever on parade day during the Seaway Festival whooping and living it up.  Always quick with a joke or a shoulder if you needed it.  She was also a member of the Ogdensburg Elks Lodge #772.

She is survived by her children; Matthew L. Tynon and his partner Sam Sturevant of Ogdensburg, Heather Novak and her husband Charlie of Painesville, OH and Randy “Joey” Tynon of Ogdensburg.  Her brothers: Lawrence Bodwell and his wife Diane of Phoenix, AZ, and John Bodwell and his wife Suellen of Lisbon also survive her.  She is survived by her beloved grandchildren; and Charles “Charlie” Novak, Evan Novak, Ada Novak and Gracie Tynon.   Her brother and sister-in-law, Steven Tynon and his wife Patty, Kerri Ledwith, and her husband Mike also survive her.

She was predeceased by her husband Randy J. Tynon, her mother, Ann Bodwell, her sister-in-law; Sherrie Tynon, and her mother-in-law Susan Tynon.
